Monica Montesi
Monica is a researcher at CNR with 13 years of experience in field cellular and molecular biology associated to material science for nanotechnology, tissue engineering, tumour engineering and regenerative medicine; in particular, in 2D and 3D in vitro model and biological evaluation of cell/material interactions; responsible of Cell/Biomaterials Interaction laboratory. She is Editor, Guest Editor and reviewer of several peer-reviewed international journals. She is involved as key personnel in grant writing and development of several National and EU-funded projects (VII Framework Program: VPHOP, OPHIS, SMILEY and ITN project BIO-INSPIRE); Scientific Responsible of founded National and private Project (Fondazione del Monte, PRIN and PORFSR) and she has been tutor and supervisor of several B.Sc. students, M.Sc. students and PhD student. Author of 59 papers published in international peer-reviewed journals. H-index =18, total citations>830 [Scopus, March 2021].
